No, Hope Builds Life wants to foster economic development in small business. Mentoring is always free.

We will do an initial video coaching call to gather background and provide actionable steps to take to move forward. Afterward, it can continue with online video calls or in person.

No, mentors provide help to avoid pitfalls, take things into consideration, guide you to a path of success. They can critique work you already completed (like feedback on a business plan) but will not write it for you.

If you need someone to create work for you, look at our Strengthen Foundation program.

Hope Builds Life nor any mentors guarantee the success of your business. Many of your daily decisions point your business to success or failure. We only provide guidance but ultimately decisions are up to you.

Mentoring helps point your business in the right direction.

You will hear from a mentor within 3 business days. You will then schedule a time to meet.

Rescheduling is OK if you communicate with your mentor ahead of time.

Not showing up to a session, especially the first one, OR responding timely to a mentor when they are setting up your mentoring session will result in a removal from our program. 

Please remember mentors are volunteering their time and expertise, respect their time.
