Andrew Flippo

Andrew Flippo has been building businesses for over twenty years. He helped start over two dozen businesses with successful exits. Not only does he have proven success from building small businesses but for the last ten years has focused on Tech Startups as a core team member leading operations taking ideas from napkin concept to revenue.

He is currently building a Tech Startup around quantum computing and cybersecurity and runs Hope Builds Life, a 501(c)(3) charity revitalizing cities and growing the small business world. He is also Chairman of SCORE San Antonio.

Rick Escamilla

Rick is a Texas business attorney serving San Antonio and the Hill Country. As an attorney, Rick provides legal counsel and business consulting services to companies in various industries and across all stages of their life cycle including entrepreneurs, start-ups, small and medium-sized businesses, and investors.

 

Prior to opening his law firm, Rick was a Wall Street banker in New York City advising publicly-traded healthcare companies on equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Rick has participated in helping these companies raise over $8 billion dollars via IPOs and follow-on transactions along with participating in M&A transactions, including a sell-side reverse merger for a Texas-based company in conjunction with a $40 million equity financing.

Kristie Narvaez

Kristie Narvaez is a Business Community Officer dedicated to serve the business community with an emphasis to support multicultural and diverse business owners in the South Texas market. She leads educational efforts to bridge the gap on small business financial literacy across all sectors.

Kristie began her career with Bank of America in 2013 and brings 12 years of experience in business banking and commercial lending. Throughout the years Kristie has empowered business owners to achieve their financial goals by providing advice, guidance, and access to Bank of America’s diverse range of products, services, and resources. She is highly engaged in the community working and cultivating relationships with local organizations that support the business ecosystem.

Originally from Laredo, TX, Kristie has roots across the South Texas area. She graduated from Texas A&M International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. When she is not dedicating her time to supporting the small business community, Kristie enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Aileen Ruffin

Aileen Ruffin is a SCORE mentor who is dedicated to her craft of serving the community utilizing her experience to help entrepreneurs start and scale through different phases of growth. Aileen is knowledgeable in strategy and execution leveraging data analysis to properly measure and meet targets.

Aileen is an entrepreneur and teaches skills and techniques to develop business acumen and build momentum for business putting the client experience at the center of success. Aileen started her career in the senior care industry over 14 years ago, starting her role as the main point of contact in finance, human resources to managing a $100M portfolio across 15 states that included high volume m&a transactions. Through the global pandemic, Aileen developed and led an operations mentorship program allowing for employee promotions that became the company’s nationwide task force team.

Warner Radillo

Warner Radillo is a dynamic and passionate entrepreneur dedicated to empowering small business owners through strategic financial solutions. He has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by small businesses today. As the founder of Principled Lending,  a financial services company based in San Antonio, driven by a mission to support the entrepreneurial spirit by offering customized funding options that enable businesses to overcome financial hurdles and achieve their goals. Warner also invests in multifamily real estate and is a Podcast enthusiast.

Anthony Earwood

Anthony Earwood is an accomplished and innovative operations management professional possessing more than 40 years of experience and progressive growth with government agencies and industry leading retail organizations.  Anthony has provided hands-on direction for business growth, procedural development, strategic alliances, distribution, customer service and financial analysis for small and large companies.

Anthony received his MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business, and is a mentor to recent graduates of the Stern MBA Program.  Anthony currently serves as Vice-Chair of the IRS Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP), a Federal Advisory Committee.  He is also Vice-Chair of SCORE San Antonio.

Teri Villanueva

Teri is a Franchise Consultant with FranNet.  She helps individuals discover the possibility of entrepreneurship through a process that matches their passions by assessing skill sets and goals. She helps her clients navigate the research and due diligence of owning a franchise so that they can make an informed decision. Teri is passionate about making a difference and enjoys educating her clients and being a resource for them before and after the sale.

Teri transitioned into Franchise Consulting after having a successful career in the insurance industry where she consulted with existing agents and recruited and coached candidates interested in becoming agents and owning their own business.  

She is a native San Antonian and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management.
