A community cannot thrive until those that sacrificed for it are taken care of. Hope Builds Life’s mission is to lower suicide rates and improve communication. Speeding up the response of fellow veterans to a veteran in immediate need is critical.
Through the use of technology partners, Hope Builds Life can fulfill its mission.
The Reaching Our Veterans Effectively Reducing Suicides (ROVERS) project reduces suicide rates to our veterans, law enforcement officers, and first responders by maximizing their speed of support from their brothers and sisters in arms.
With 20+ years of overseas wars, many of our veterans suffer with mental health concerns. The ROVERS initiative is an impactful program that is aimed at fast communications through technology to help our veterans get the support they need.
Flash Emergency Management is an off grid, compartmentalized, encrypted communication app for both iOS and Android. Their mission is to provide teams with instant communication during times of crisis.
They have donated their core engine to build a stand alone mobile app to allow groups of veterans to communication privately with one another to help support each other.
No one else can understand what they’ve gone through except those who have gone through it. Hope Builds Life is not veteran owned and managed, but that does not mean we can’t help. We can provide and support the technology with our partners to have a safe, secure place for veterans to lift each other up and be there for one another when there in moments of despair.
We understand many veterans and law enforcement are employed and may have security concerns with sharing this vulnerability of needing support. The app is encrypted with 256k bit encryption and is private to just those within their group.
