At 18 years of age, foster children are emancipated from the system as legal adults, often without the necessary skills to thrive independently. Facing limited resources and lacking a robust professional toolbox, Hope Builds Life prioritizes the development of crucial life skills and facilitates opportunities through our dedicated partners.
With our support, foster children receive assistance in job preparation, securing housing, accessing apprenticeships, enrolling in college, and accessing other vital resources. Our aim is to level the playing field and provide them with equal opportunities, akin to those afforded to individuals from traditional family backgrounds.
The program Hope Builds Life provides private music lessons to disadvantaged youth from 10 to 18 years of age. Through our strategic partnership with Sage Music, an established, high-end music education facility, we provide funding for lessons to foster talent for those without opportunity.
This project is lovingly named Play to Thrive.
