The HOPE (Housing, Opportunity, Preparation, Excellence) Pathways program is a transition housing program that focuses on helping foster youth who transition out of the system at the age of 18. Hope Builds Life focuses on four cornerstone pathways that help take a foster child where they are in life and help them form foundational values that will lead them become resilient adults in life.
Foster adults will move into a small home that contains all the essentials for living. This provides a safe, welcoming place to take care of their core needs or shelter and protection.
This also encourages self reliance of taking care of their own place and learning the responsibility and trust given to them.
Weekly counseling from our on staff counselor will help them come to terms with their past so they can confidently move forward.
Some foster adults will go into the workforce, others will turn to educations, and others will focus on certifications.
HOPE Pathways will prepare all of them on how to succeed and help them through the process so they can prepare for a future of success.
Most foster adults never had someone teach them the basics of life. We teach them life skills like changing tires, financial literacy, leadership training, accountability, responsibility, etc.
