Schott's Meat Market joined Hope Builds Life

Understanding the value of helping the community, they have agreed to join Hope Builds Life as a partner for those that are looking for employment. Butchering is a trade profession and despite the anti-meat agenda in today’s climate, real meat is a cornerstone of good nutrition.

We’re happy to have them be part of the HBL Family.

Schott’s Meat Market was founded by Mike Schott. Mike has over 45 years in the meat industry working for local meat processing facilities. He began processing deer in a shop at his house for family and friends. His two sons, Buck and Beau, would help after school and on weekends, learning at a young age. In 2001, Mike made it official and opened a deer processing facility on Highway 16 and expanded to doing custom slaughter as well. In 2013, we moved locations and added a full service meat market. Through years of hard work and dedication, we built a name that people could trust for quality and service. Our last few years at that location, we processed over 6,000 wild animals per year.
