Play to Thrive Program

The program Hope Builds Life provides private music lessons to disadvantaged youth from 10 to 18 years of age. Through our strategic partnership with Sage Music, an established, high-end music education facility, we provide funding for  lessons to foster talent for those without opportunity.

This project is lovingly named Play to Thrive.

Hope Builds Life's Mission Critical Objectives

The Play to Thrive program is important for cultural arts to thrive. Here is why:

  • Foster talents in those who lack the opportunity.
  • Putting idle hands to work to give purpose to those who may be without it.
  • Grow the next generation of musical artists from all backgrounds.
  • Equalize the playing field in music programs at schools.

What Does Play to Thrive Do?

How Do You Qualify?

  • Provide private music lessons once or twice per week.
  • Provide three recitals per year to show off your talent.
  • Connect with positive teaching role models.
  • Join jam sessions with others to grow their abilities.
  • Must show a love of music.
  • Must commit to a year of lessons.
  • Ensure the youth has transportation to the music school.
  • Has not unsuccessfully been part of the program previously.
